You know, I was a supporter of (RED) to begin with, but I lost feeling for it after really thinking about it's purpose. (RED) was created to raise awareness and money for The Global Fund and a percentage of each (PRODUCT)RED product sold is given to The Global Fund which helps women and children affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa. What, HIV/AIDS? What, Africa? What, women and children? Number one, The Global Fund also fights against tuberculosis and malaria, both of which are widespread. Number two, why only Africa? The Global Fund is a force for all countries and nations; and although Africa does have the highest number of AIDS victims in the World, why ONLY help Africa and not the US or UK, etc.. Number three, HIV/AIDS affects boys/men just the same. Maybe I'm wrong - I mean I know it's a good thing, but it could be ... better.
