Best Design Week Ever: 1
Post Info Friday, March 2nd, 2007 3:40 pm by J David Print Print this page Share This

I have decided to try something new. Every week, I am going to put together a list of links to the best design related posts or developments of that week. I browse a lot… I mean a lot and I think that in this way, I can share some of the best stuff I have seen in a nice, concise, and hopefully useful way! Keep in mind, this doesn’t necessarily mean that this stuff is from the week, but only that I saw it that week. Don’t go getting all technical on me…

    Best Design Week Ever

  • The European Logo Design Annual (Eulda) 2007: David Airey found this one. If you are awesome at logos and you are European, maybe you will win! How exciting for you!
  • Sidebar Creative: This design company features what I would call the Four Horseman of web design. If you need a site and you have at least $10,000 apparently, you can have a kick-butt design made by them. I wish I had $10,000…
  • Pick a Color Palette With ColorJack Sphere: “Just select the kind of palette you’re looking for, then start moving the cursor around until you find a scheme you like. I know we’re not all designers, but you don’t have to be a designer to find a tool like this useful.”
  • Free Design Templates: “Free design templates don’t have to be unattractive, inaccurate and boring. Some web-sites offer high quality templates for the best price you would ever get - for free.”
  • 6 Tools for Web Design: Well, this is a list for people with Macs. If you have one, take a look. If you are like me and don’t, then move along…
  • MiniAjax.com: A showroom of nice looking simple down-loadable DHTML and AJAX scripts.
  • 5 More Free Fonts: “High quality freefonts are always nice to have, but usually they are extremely hard to find. Usually it requires much time and patience to get a lead on some gorgeous typofaces out there.”
  • How Web 2.0 Logos are Drawn: “Ever wonder how these guys draw their Web 2.0 Logos? Sometimes its nice to learn from others, build up the basic skills and start your own creativity from there.”
