Best Design Week EverAnother week, another late posting. But hey, as long as I get them out, right? Or maybe it was just that last week was in fact a crappy design week and there was nothing good out there. Ok, that is definitely not true… it was more likely a combination of loads of school work for me, and laziness… mostly laziness… Nevertheless, the list is here and I hope you enjoy it’s little treats, including free graphics, great tips, and companies with names thought up by Dr. Seuss…

  • Tingelets: Tingelets are a set of bookmarklets that you can place in your browsers bookmark bar. When clicked, they highlight a certain tag or set of tags in a specific color or background tile. Very useful little buggers.
  • White Glass Photoshop Buttons: These are some very pretty and very shiny buttons for Photoshop. I don’t use it, but maybe you do!
  • Surefire Way to Ruin Your Blog: This is a list of 7 things that you don’t want to do. I seriously need to consider changing my ways… (via Listerate)
  • About Tumblelogs: Jaypee writes about this new phenomenon that is the tumblelog. They kinda resemble email forwards, if you ask me…
  • 30 Great Website Designs: Looking for a little inspiration this week? Look no further my friend!
  • Color Palette Generator: There are plenty of color palette tools out there, but what makes this one cool is that you can use an image and derive a palette from it.
  • What You Didn’t Learn In Design School: This list is really for creative professionals in general, not just web designers. But there are still great points made here.
