I recently participated in The Paper Bull’s community blog project and man was it fun. I went out onto the web and found myself a site I had never seen before and I just wrote a post that praised them. Teresa does some incredible work, so it was not like I struggled to find good things to say. In fact, I found out afterward that she didn’t even really like her own site that much! Go figure! Anyhow, here are all of the posts from this first round of the project. I do plan on participating in some future rounds as well, so I will be keeping my eye out for a nice new site.
The Recap:
- Two Awesome Blogging/Freelancing Resources – by I Help You Blog.
Philip selected two sites that are my on daily read list as well: NorthxEast and Freelance Switch. Two exceptional sites for business entrepreneurs / freelancers. - Community Blog Project: Promoting ChiGarden – by J David Macor. J David’s selection was Chi Garden: a personal blog by computer science undergrad Teresa Watts in Australia.
- Beth Ellen Nagle – Eclectic Studio Cafe – by The Paper Bull. I selected a fantastic photography blog: Eclectic Studio Cafe. Superb work. I highly recommend having quality design and visual artist blogs on your reading list and Beth Ellen is a keeper.
Hi J David,
It’s a nice idea from The Paper Bull. One that I’ve been meaning to take part in myself one of these days.
You really should. For me, it was a great way to actively go out and find a new site that I really liked.
