You know, I was born and raised in Miami, Florida, with an immigrant father from Italy. I just wasn’t expecting these results… I mean, my mom is from Ohio, but still… I have no interesting accent in me…

What American accent do you have? (Best version so far)

Midland

(”Midland” is not necessarily the same thing as “Midwest”) The default, lowest-common-denominator American accent that newscasters try to imitate. Since it’s a neutral accent, just because you have a Midland accent doesn’t mean you’re from the Midland.

    I got midland too. However, I am an immigrant from Taiwan. I don’t natively speaking English.

    I guess midland is what most people get.

    That is an interesting test.

    I have slovenian accent but also hawaiian too :) yeah i know you don’t know what kind of accents those are ;)
    similar to german and italian

    I actually carry a pretty heavy southern accent. I live in Tampa, Florida which is my hometown of origin. Here I meet many Midland accents… I get immediately assumed to be from Alabama. People ask me where my accent is from. I reply “Florida”.
