I was stumbling around the net when I came across a video at Crazy Leaf Design. They were dumbfounded by what they saw, as am I. I didn’t even know these types of things were possible. Apple may be good at beautiful design, but Microsoft is king of innovation. I can’t even describe this project very well. It will change the way you read things on the computer, interact with photos and use social networks. Obviously, that description does the project no justice. You should just stop reading my babbling and watch the video:
Now that you have seen the video, go play with the real thing over at Microsoft Live Labs!
Wow. That’s pretty cool.
Not sure whether I’d call Microsoft a “king of innovation” – but they certainly have a knack for buying out innovative companies!
True. That is mostly what they do. But I just can’t shake the feeling that Apple doesn’t introduce anything that is super innovative. They just mash existing technologies and/or make boring ones into sexy devices. But hey, I myself own like 4 boringly sexy iPods, so they must be doing something right…
Oh man, that´s so cool!
Was soll man sagen? Faszinierend! Ach was schreiben wir? [...]
That is awesome. I had given up on Microsoft coming up with innovative products to keep up with Google.
Have you seen Stephen Hawkins in Venice? Take a look at the last picture.
SWEET! I can’t wait to try it out. Unfortunately, I can’t right now coz I’m running Ubuntu on my laptop. I’ll have to wait until I get a new one.
hey, nice post very cool technology, at least they can identify, innovation!
i was wondering, how the links in on alexa works, and on wordpress admin page i have all these in coming links, but alexa and doesn’t acknowledge any of them.
That is really impressive, I have done a lot with panarama pasting but this is really great. I suspect I could reconstruct my childhood home circa 1979 with this and the photos I have…
My god the content in that video is amazing, no wonder the crowd are oooohing and ahhhhing!
The map is unreal!

I have to agree with Paul: the only innovative thing Microsoft is good in is marketing something they buy over. What I envy is that they are really really good in that!
Still waiting for a handheld as fast as broadband and as cheap as dirt, that would be the innovation
Wasn’t Bill’s dream to link everybody with everybody? I wish his dream becomes reality.
thank god this isn’t permanent!
unbelievable, i am speechless, Microsoft buys over or whatever but they are bringing change and they definitely have the scale to wide spread the standards
Saw that on Youtube before and I was extremely amazed.
Wow. That’s pretty cool.
The video clipping is really amazing to watch…As you said microsoft may be the ‘king of innovation’ as equal ‘apple’ product also, its not only designed well its features or uses also becoming good now a days…
I must admit this is pretty cool! But I don’t think it has taken off in popularity yet =(
Till then,
Jean
In his example of testing the JPEG compression rate for CoPilot he cites that the setup code for the test would be large, and take more time than it was worth.
