I am a new Author for Wisdump
Post Info Saturday, July 21st, 2007 8:11 pm by J David Print Print this page Share This

Wisdump LogoI am honored to announce that I have been asked to be a writer for the famous (or infamous?) Wisdump. I was contacted earlier today to join the Wisdump team and I am glad to be a part of it. Basically, I will be writing once a week and talking about, well… whatever I want; so long as it stays within the design/web app world. In case you didn’t know, Wisdump is the former blog of Paul Scrivens (most notably of 9Rules fame), but was sold and is now under new management. The editors are putting together a team of writers, and I happen to be one of them. :)

What will happen to J David Macor.com?

Absolutely nothing. I will continue to bring my A-game here. I plan on releasing a new WordPress theme soon as well as some more WordPress guides, so keep your eye out for those. J David Macor.com will remain my primary site; I just now have a side gig!

Speaking of that gig, I have written my first post for them, so go read it: How Facebook can beat Google

Good Luck! Maintain your patience - you’ll do okay!

The recent history may take some time to fade so hang in there.

If the history you are referring to is the whole Sponsored Theme mess, than I am with you there. Hopefully people won’t have hard feelings about that (regardless of where you stand) and will read the new Wisdump with open minds.

Congratulations man! I’m so happy to read about this. You’re definitely going places. Hehe :)

Anyways, you deserve it. I wish all the best and don’t forget me when you become famous okay? :D

Glad to have you on board, David!
And don’t worry too much about the ‘recent history’. It was much more a ‘former editor’ case than a sponsored theme case. And SplashPress has done everything needed to make sure that there aren’t any misunderstandings with ‘the honchos’.

Lets only look at the future now and make WD kicking again. :)

Thanks Franky! I can’t wait to get that site back to where it belongs, among the creme of the blogging crop!
