What Is LogoPond?
I love browsing around the net, looking for inspiration of all kinds; color schemes, graphics, logos. I love it all. So it should come as no surprise that I often frequent LogoPond, as it is a fantastic source of inspiration.
For those of you not in the know, LogoPond is an amazing resource graphic designers. There is an amazing user submitted gallery of, well, logos! There is a featured gallery along with the full date organized gallery for your viewing pleasure. On top of that, they have fantastic resources including graphic design books, a forum, jobs and also a series of articles.

Hi J David,
Which of the above logos do you like the best, and why? I’d love to know your thoughts.
My girlfriend has really been into the bird thing as of late, and her taste has heavily influences mine. My favorite has to be the Rose Garden logo. I like how the roses feel cloud like with the bird on top of them.
I like blackbird consulting myself.
To me, out of all the logos it looks the most corporate / big…and that’s what tends to draw me in.

I don’t like the Vessel logo at all, the cut out letters make it hard to read. It’d be worse when you reduced the size.
I also like the Rose Garden logo.

The THINK logo is okay, my main problem with it is it’s a bit too simplistic.

Mmm, that is rich designy goodness that makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Such rich, beautiful logos.

I love all these logos and logopond is great resource for inspiration. You should check out the logos by Nido, in my opinion one of the great logo designing minds out there.
